. History of Establishment

The Department of Plastic and Aesthetic Surgery was established on October 21, 2015.

Over many years of formation and development, the Department has consistently fulfilled its mission of providing healthcare services to the community, while striving to become a leading unit in the field of plastic and aesthetic surgery in Vietnam.

The Department of Plastic and Aesthetic Surgery is a specialized unit under Viet Nhat Multispecialty Clinic.

2. Organizational Structure

The Department currently has:

• 13 inpatient beds

• 03 outpatient consultation rooms

• 02 minor operating rooms

The total staff consists of 18 personnel, including:

• 04 Doctors

• 10 Nurses

• 02 Nursing Assistants

• 02 Medical Secretaries

3. Functions and Responsibilities

The Department of Plastic and Aesthetic Surgery, under Viet Nhat Multispecialty Clinic, is responsible for the examination and treatment of conditions related to plastic and aesthetic surgery, utilizing modern medical equipment and continuously updated advanced techniques from around the world.

The Department also:

• Establishes medical cooperation to expand operations and update professional knowledge

• Provides education and training to improve qualifications and professional skills of healthcare staff in plastic and aesthetic surgery

• Develops scientific research and applies medical advancements to better serve patients

• Contributes to reducing overload at specialized hospitals in Hanoi

• Implements international cooperation programs in accordance with government directives to promote the development of aesthetic services

With a highly experienced team of doctors and nurses specialized in plastic surgery, along with modern facilities, operating rooms, and advanced medical equipment, the Department focuses on developing high-tech procedures in plastic and aesthetic surgery.

• Eyelid surgery (upper/lower blepharoplasty), fat removal, double eyelid creation, ptosis correction
